The City of God Bible Art Mural Project brings together the Anglican Parish of Christ the King in the City of God in Rio de Janeiro, international mural artist Joel Bergner and local people. In 2010 and 2011 we produced murals of the Garden of Eden, the Last Supper and the New Jerusalem. In 2013 the project takes to the streets to produce two murals for Prophets' Square and Easter Square. Follow the adventure here over the coming days...

Well and truly plastered
One of the first tasks was to prepare the walls for the murals. The builders did an excellent job. Work started at the beginning of September and within a month our derelict walls were like blank canvasses.
